The website

Tasks, sessions, settings, and the in-progress timer stay in your browser under the local storage key focusdoro:v1. That history is not uploaded.

Anonymous page-view counts are sent to PostHog so we can tell visits from bots. Session recording is off, page text is masked, and no account profile is created. Task titles and timer history are not part of those counts.

The Chrome extension

The companion does not include analytics. Timer state, the optional task title, and Focus Guard domains stay in Chrome's local extension storage on your device.

A content script runs only on pomororo.com so an open Pomororo tab and the toolbar timer can share the same focus block. It reads and writes that same local timer record. It does not run on other sites.

Focus Guard is off until you turn it on. Site access is requested only for the domains you add, and only while a focus block is running or paused. The extension does not read page content or browsing history.

Completion notifications are created by Chrome on your device. They are not sent to Pomororo.
